Efforts to build an advanced technology demonstration field utilizing 5G, Digital Service Bureau, Tokyo Metropolitan Government

In the “Tokyo of the Future” strategy, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has positioned the Nishi-Shinjuku area as the “Smart Tokyo” advance implementation area, and is working toward the urban implementation of services that utilize 5G and advanced technology.
As part of this initiative, we started recruiting in April and June of this year, “Recruitment of collaborative businesses involved in the area installation, operation and verification business of smart poles (*) in the Nishi-Shinjuku area” and “5G. Regarding “Call for Smart City Service Demonstration Projects in the Nishi-Shinjuku Area Utilizing Advanced Technologies,” the business operators have decided as follows.
